Look at Handcrafted Guitars by Brian Bishop, Luthier

Guitars by Brian:

Raw Materials (Genuine “Scratch-build”)

Brian received his training in Guitar Lutherie from the Galloup School of Lutherie. He makes his guitars from raw materials. That means he begins with raw wood, not a kit. He frequently cuts the wood on his own sawmill, thus obtaining exactly the wood he wants. The Black Walnut wood for the baritone (shown below) was cut on that mill, as was the curly, spalted maple for a guitar shown on his “Recent Work” post.

And the Bridges.

Brian hand carved these bridges from ebony or other hardwoods, to fit the handcrafted guitars he makes.
